Four branded blocks I designed with 3D artist Anthony Lamb for Nickelodeon International - A project to design architecture to house Nickelodeon programming for regions that did not have established Nickelodeon channels.

Hello, how are you? Well?And the family?


This poor deserted blog has been left for far too long, due to lots of work and a lack of uploading the fruits of my labour.


Anyway, things have moved on swiftly over the last few months...

I have joined forces with Ian W Gouldstone to create The Alaskan Military School, operating from a secret base of operations in Deptford.
This blog will now serve as a personal sketchbook, as well as doubling up on news and posts from Headquarters.

Something from the archives, the end of 2001...A group project from SIAD that me and a certain Mr. Anthony Lamb edited and otherwise made up on the spot whilst gorging on potato snacks after a random shoot. It's all a bit random actually, but that's why I like it.

Image 1: The beginnings of a new film I hope to get going in the coming months. This began life as a pitch idea for an Unkle competition which I didn't have time to develop.

Image 2: I went through a period of photocopying loads of random items; this is a surviving image I rediscovered recently. The general idea is to incorporate this photocopy and approach into the above film as I love the composition.

Image from a pitch I did for some film last year. Observe how it's a head...surrounded by wire. "ooohhhhhhhh, what could all the meanings be?" you wonder. I am so outside the box.

These were some initial storyboard images for a certain construction based toy advertising campaign. I may have made the creatures a little too scary for the younger viewer, (these were made friendly-ish in later versions). If I am able I will post the entire board at some point in the near future.

A film I made in 2002, probably my favourite, due to it's personal meanings which I'm sure are lost on everyone else. I started with the premise that when I was a child I believed I could stir the world with a spoon, meaning that when you're a kid you naively believe that everything is possible, that you can control everything around you...oh how I was wrong!!! Also, that's my Mum on the voice-over...Go team Lye!

FIRST TIME BUYER!

A film I made whilst at the Royal College Of Art in 2004, it screened all round the world at festivals and toured with Resfest. It won an award too, which was nice.

Sixty Minute Makeover

This is a still from some titles I did for the third series of Sixty Minute Makeover, an ITV show on weekday mornings. This was made back in September; the whole thing came together really quickly, mainly because I talked my housemates into posing as the various figures that can be seen wandering round the building as it spins revealing the 60mm logo. Il stick the quicktime up here soon.
